Ways You Can Help
Thanks for the relationships you’ve built with children this summer. Nothing reaches deeper into the heart of a child than relationships. Relationships inspire children to receive, retain and recall information.
Please consider tutoring with a child during our after-school program from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Mon-Thursday beginning the first Tuesday September 6, 2022.
In addition to the 120+ children attending our summer program we have 60+ kids on our waiting list, most of whom are 4-6 years old. Parents understand the outcomes of their kids joining YBC at an early age such as...
-
Speaking English fluently by 1st grade
-
Reading at, or above grade level by 3rd grade
-
Maintaining a GPA of 80+
-
Improving 10-25% on benchmark tests

As we respond to funding gaps caused by COVID-19 and inflation we need financial support. Here are some ways you may help:
-
Purchase a gas card of any amount and send it to YBC. (we transport about 100 kids daily).
-
Sponsor a kid to attend YBC’s after school program: $600
-
Sponsor a lane for 6 at our November Youth Bowling for Change event. $1000. Date TBA. (COVID related matters may affect this event)
-
Consider contributing to YBC during North Texas Giving Day, September 22, 2022.
Thanks again for your support,
Earnestly,
Vince Gaddis
